Silhouette

A family of chairs balancing Korean finishes with a meticulous and  sustainable construction method. The chairs utilise small  slices of solid beech, cut from offcuts and small pieces of wood, these 24 small pieces are assembled together to create a  simple extruded form that appears as if a silhouette.  The chairs are finished with black and an earthen  red Lacquer that then give a seamless finish, with  the impression of a piece carved out of one single  piece of wood.
