Studio Booboon is a design practice based in Paris that works on a wide range of projects exploring the boundaries between materiality, form, tradition and modernity. Founded by two designers Jisu Yun and Richard Bone, the studio draws inspiration from the essence of small details that shape our daily lives. The studio infuses design solutions with unique elements, focusing on every aspect to enrich the lives of its users.

Richard is an award winning British designer with extensive experience working with global clients and brands.  After studying at the Royal College of Art in London he went on to work with some of the most acclaimed designers and studios, including Oki Sato’s nendo and the London based Pearsonlloyd.

Designer Jisu Yun, hailing from Korea graduated from Hongik University in Seoul, she worked for Samsung Design Membership as an industrial designer, then went on to pursue a career working with highly experienced and skilled clients at Nendo in Tokyo.

Jisu and Richard have worked with an ever growing list of influential clients, across a broad range of disciplines, including; LG, Forma&Cemento, Oppo, Fritz Hansen, Joseph Joseph, Louis Poulsen, KakaoTalk, Marsotto Edizione, Kenzo, Il Makiage, and Lufthansa.
